Our Programs
All of our programs take a two-step approach to fight food insecurity. Step 1 provides access to consistent, nutritious food to students. Step 2 helps build up families' resources and support networks so that it doesn't face food insecurity in the future.
All of our programs are relationship-based and follow a two-way giving model. They are NOT handout programs. Everyone involved with GoPacks' programs are part of the team; we all work together for a common goal.
GoPacks Elementary School Program
Here's how it works.......
GoPacks will:
-
send healthy food home with students, from the schools, in cloth bags for weekends
-
organize free workshops/classes/events for
families to attend that increase resources,
support networks, and family bonding -
provide families with take home resources
info for other groups such as recipes, kits, surplus food & contact
Students/Families will:
-
bring cloth bags home weekly & return them back to the school the following week
-
pick up food from the GoPacks office for
longer school breaks -
attend 2 Parent-Teacher Conferences
-
attend at least 1 GoPacks hosted or
endorsed event before the end of the school year (families may attend more)
Extra Program Features:

On Track with GoPacks

all students receive 1 new book per school quarter, & can earn
party invitations & camp scholarships

Super Shopper Monthly Enhancements

This is an optional feature that allows families to invest $9 to receive 9 months of toiletries & personal items for their students

GoPacks Home Edition
Here's how it works.....
GoPacks will:
-
provide healthy food for breakfasts, lunches, & snacks, one week at at time
-
organize free workshops/classes/events for
families to attend that increase resources,
support networks, and family bonding -
provide families with take home resources
info for other groups such as recipes, kits, surplus food & contact
Students/Families will:
-
pick up food from the GoPacks office once a week
-
attend at least 1 GoPacks hosted or
endorsed event before the end of the school year (families may attend more)

all students receive 1 new book per school quarter, & can earn

Vouchers at The Pack & Go Store
Here's how it works........
GoPacks will:

put vouchers on students’ Pack & Go
account for 2 bundles a week (1 of each type) -
organize free workshops/classes/events for
families to attend that increase resources,
support networks, and family bonding -
provide families with take home resources
info for other groups such as recipes, kits, surplus food & contact
Students/Families will:

stop by the Pack & Go Store weekly to pick up 2 bundles (students’ responsibility)

pick up food from the GoPacks office for
longer school breaks -
attend at least 1 GoPacks hosted or endorsed event before the end of the school year (families may attend more)

Families whose students attend fully on-line school and/or are enrolled in a traditional homeschooling program and can commit to visiting our office in Marietta, OH once a week are eligible for our homeschooling program.
