The Alicia McIntire Scholarship
This scholarship will continue the work that beloved GoPacks team member, and local educator, Alicia McIntire started with our organization. The Alicia McIntire Scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers and walk alongside one student at a time, throughout their higher education journey.
As part of her work with GoPacks, Alicia gathered resources and connected older students to various supports so they could continue to pursue their future goals. This scholarship will continue her work, assisting students with not just possible tuition costs, but other expenses students face when pursuing higher education, such as food expenses, transportation, rent, etc. We miss our friend dearly, but know this scholarship will continue the great legacy she has left behind.
Who is eligible?
Any student who has a connection with GoPacks.
Priority goes to a candidate who has been enrolled in a GoPacks program.
Secondary preference to a candidate who has been involved with GoPacks.
What is the amount of the scholarship?
For the 2026-27 school year, a minimum of $5,000 will be awarded to an eligible applicant.
Timeline
Applications may be submitted online through the link below. Alternatively a hardcopy can be printed and completed, and then dropped off or mailed to the GoPacks office - 501 Fourth St., Marietta, OH 45750.

Hardcopy Application
If you would like to submit a hardcopy application, print out the pdf at the link below. Applications can be dropped off at the GoPacks' office, located in First Presbyterian Church, 501 Fourth St., Marietta, OH 45750. We have our own entrance off of the parking lot. Applications can also be mailed. If you are dropping off the application, we recommend texting or calling us at 740.628.5533 to ensure someone is in the office.
